Waters Above, Waters Below
This series is inspired by the passage in Genesis 1:6–8, when God separates the waters above from the waters below —
and in between, creates the sky.
In these images, clouds meet water.
Sky reflects in the sea.
And suddenly, the boundary between heaven and earth feels thin.
Like a veil pulled back.
These reflections aren’t just visual.
They carry a sense of nearness, a singular moment when creation mirrors itself, and the invisible brushes up against the visible.
No striving. No spectacle.
Just a gentle invitation to pause and to look.
And maybe to remember: that the same God who formed the heavens, still speaks through anything to us if we are paying attention to His ways.
